REPORT OF THE TOUR TO SPAIN written by Monika Hadam (Poland)

19.10. 2014 Sunday 
We waited for the bus which finally arrived at about 2.00 a.m. in the morning. Then we travelled by bus for about 2 hours and we arrived at the airport at 4.00 a.m. At 5.45 we flew from Wroclaw airport to Warsaw. At the beginning I was scared but then I overcame the fear. 
We flew for almost an hour. Then we waited for about 3 hours for our flight to Madrid. When we landed, we drove to the hotel immediately.It was hot in Madrid that day. While collecting our luggage we met people from Czech and we immediately began to talk to them. It was great. Aftrer we haad refreshed, and went to Burger King Live. It was a memorable day.

20.10.2014 Monday 
On this beautiful day we visited Madrid. After sightseeing some of us felt pain in their legs but the atmosphere was great. We went to many interesting shops. In the evening we were in Leon. 

21.10.2014 Tuesday
On this day, we were pleasantly greeted at a Spanish school. There were songs and dances and many more attractions. Then we went to the county office and we got a book in Spanish from the mayor of San Andres. Then we had a guided sightseeing of San Isidro Colegiata. In the evening there was a trip to the city and shopping with our Spanish friends. Most of us bought candy and some clothes. It was a good day but unfortunately we went to bed late. 
22.10.2014 Wednesday 

We visited a Spanish high school which was very beautiful. Then we participated in one of the lessons at the school. I had a Science lesson. Then we went to Astorda where we visited the cathedral, Las Medulas, Gaudí Palace and Roman Wolls - wonderful attractions. We ate a tasty dinner in Astorda and in the evening you spent time with our host families. 

23.10.2014 Thursday 

We woke up in the morning and we went to shool for two classes. I was in Mathematics and Philosophy lessons both taught in Spanish. The lessons were great. Then we took a bus to Valpocuero, El Faedo de Ciner. We also had a picnic in that day. It was a memorable trip. 

24.10.2014 Friday 

That day we spent in the classroom at the Spanish school. It was fun. Then all the participants presented their presentations about the National Parks of each partnership country. They were very interesting and our presentation about Polish National Parks was by most people in the audience recognized as the best. Then we went to classrooms and we made a herbarium. It was very nice. Each country did their herbarium in a different way and I liked all of them. In the afternoon we returned home and relaxed. In the evening we went to a restaurant for dinner. It was an unforgettable week. It was really wonderful.

OUR VISIT IN SPAIN 
It has been some time since our return to Poland.
There were six people who represented our school: two teachers Mrs. Agata Murzyńska and Ms. Magdalena Jokiel and four students Agnieszka Oziębłowska, Kasia Kuchta, Monika Hadam and me. We had a great chance of visiting Spain, one of the partnership countries. It was possible owing to the Comenius Project. We stayed in Spain from 19th November till 25th November. The first hours of our visit we spent in Madrid - the capital of Spain. On the first day we met new friends from the Czech Republic. In Madrid we visited the Plaza Mayor and the Royal Palace. The other days of our trip we spent in Leon where we stayed with our host families. I stayed with Marina Garcia. During our stay we also visited Astorga, Las Médulas, the Roman Walls, Valporquero Caves, el Faedo de Ciñera and our partnership city Leon. In Astorga we also saw the famous Cathedral and Gaudi’s Palace. We also tasted the regional sweets. While staying in Leon I took part in the lessons of Maths, Economics, Sports, Philosophy, History and Science. In our free time we had meetings with the project participants from other countries such as Portugal, Turkey and Hungary. Moreover, we met people from Austria. There were lots of attractions and surprising moments during our stay. I hope that it was not the last meeting and we will see all together one day again. I’m sure I will never forget the wonderful time spent in Spain. I would like to visit Leon again very much because it brings back great memories.
